Those hoping to go on bargain ski holidays this year can currently benefit from a number of deals, one source has said.

The Daily Mail recently stated that there are several ski holiday deals open to winter sports enthusiasts for some of Europe's top resorts.

According to the publication, Vaujany in Alpe d'Huez is one area where a wealth of deals can be had, but it claimed that those wanting to head off on cheap ski breaks may need to act quickly.

"Far from feeling gloomy at the prospect of falling temperatures, this is the time of year when skiers and snowboarders up and down the country start to anticipate the joys of a new season," the news provider said.

Meanwhile, Betony Garner, a spokesperson for the Ski Club of Great Britain, recently predicted that traditional bargain ski holidays to resorts in France are set to remain popular this year.
