New Zealand's south Island has been hit by heavy snow fall across Queenstown and the Canterbury ski areas. In several areas the ski resorts and ski slopes are being closed due to dangerous blizzards. Skiers and snowboarders alike are making the most of the fresh powder fall in Queenstown on The Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski resorts, whilst the weather is good enough for skiing to continue.
