Improve your chalet cookery skills and get a job in the Alps this September from £545pp.
So you want to spend a season in the Alps as a Chalet Host – why would a chalet company choose you out of hundreds of applicants? Enhance your prospects of doing your dream season by enrolling on one of our cookery courses.
We teach you about all the different aspects of running your own chalet but most importantly you will learn to cook recipes that are quick and easy to prepare, nutritious and tasty. You will learn basic cookery techniques that will enable you to prepare your food to a good standard but with the minimum of hassle. You will learn about cooking at altitude, top tips on efficient running of your chalet to maximise your ski time, how to stretch your budget that bit further along with sessions on shopping, cleaning, accounting and resort life.
We are fortunate enough to run our courses in the Chalet Gourmet (Morzine), which offers a spacious fully equipped kitchen. Learning in this environment will help with the understanding of running a real chalet in a real situation.
Course dates for 2013:
- 7th - 14th September
- 14th - 21st September
- 21st - 28th September
