Ski Pass
Skiing in Zermatt is on a vast scale, surrounded as it is by 29 peaks all over 4000m including the ever present Matterhorn. The skiing divides into three areas that are linked on the mountain, Sunnegga, Rothorn, Gornergrat. They offer everything from Switzerland's longest ski run (22 km) to wide carving runs and mogul fields and even access to Cervinia in Italy with the correct ski pass.
Beginners **
While beginners will find several broad, safe and beautiful areas to ski, which are ideal for learning in, it isn’t that easy to venture far. There are few beginner trails linking the huge mountain ranges, making Zermatt suitable only for beginners who enjoy a challenge.
Intermediates ****
Zermatt holds enormous appeal for intermediate skiers who will find a wealth of terrain to explore and enjoy with our ski pass. Expect to ski for miles on varied terrain on the very long runs which link all of Zermatt's ski areas. A trip to Cervinia in Italy is accessible even to intermediates so the area offers the chance to ski 2 countries in a weekend.
Advanced *****
Zermatt is justifiably famous for its advanced skiing and mogul fields as well as steep forested gullies. A large part of Zermatts appeal lies in its large off-piste areas. However, these can be a long way from the pisted areas, and as such should not be undertaken without a guide. With access to Cervinia on the Italian side too advance skiers have plenty of scope.
Ski Pass Coverage
The Zermatt ski pass covers all lifts on the Swiss side of the border. The international pass covers Zermatt and Cervinia in Italy.

Equipment Hire Partner 
Our ski hire partner is Triftbach Sport, who operate a satellite ski hire service at the Hotel Elite as well as having their main ski hire shop in Zermatt centre itself. As well as ski and snowboard rental they offer a full range of services including ski and snowboard servicing, professional boot fitting and a full range of clothing and essential accessories in their shops.

Ski Lesson Partner 
The Schweizer Ski and Snowboard Schule Zermatt can offer tuition for all levels and in all snow sports. Whether you are taking your first lessons, wanting to improve and refine your technique or just ski with a professional to find the best runs and snow as quickly as possible there are private lessons to suit your needs.
