The Andros Trophy (Val Thorens): December 2011
An extreme motor racing event on ice (cars and bikes)... With the
highest ice circuit in Europe Val Thorens ski resort's motor ice racing
event pulls in the crowds and ice racing experts from around the globe.
Ski & Boarder Week (Val Thorens): December 2011
This snow, sport and music festival will give you the chance to
enjoy competitions, demonstrations and festivals throughout a week of
skiing. There will also be several promotional offers about and
opportunities to test out some new kit, you can also expect a few last
minute surprises as well.
The International Fire and Arts Pyrotechnic Festival (Courchevel): February 2012
Every year since 2003 the hills of Courchevel ski resort have been
lit up by a selection of world renowned pyrotechnic teams battling
with mesmerising firework displays set to music.
Little World Festival (Meribel): 12th-19th March 2012
This festival is definately a date for the diary combining 5 days of
ski & snowboarding events with some of the best bands and DJ's at
the hottest spots in Meribel.
Over 40 live gigs during the week
Last years headliners - The Feeling, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Squeeze, Freemasons to name a few..

Snowboard Big Air and Rail competition
British National Ski Championships (Meribel): March & April 2012
Meribel has hosted this event for a long time and has since became a
popular British ski resort. This is a great opportunity to see the best
British skiers in action. Looking out for potential future stars and
those more seasoned skiers who have already achieved stardom in the
skiing world.
Luge Cup (Val Thorens): April 2012
Val Thorens has the longest toboggan run in France (6km) and is
especially prepared for this event. Anyone can enter, there are
categories for: adults, children, couples and professionals.
The North Face Ski Challenge Final (Val Thorens): April 2012
The North face ski challenge is open to skiers aged 12 to 18...
competitors will ski both freeride and freestyle. Competitors between
16 and 18 could win a contract from sponsors. The ski competition is
being carried out across Europe and will come to a spectacular finale in
Val Thorens.
X-Wing Rally (Throughout the 3 valleys): April 2012
This event is open to all who love a bit of fun on the ski slopes,
there are three categories: Pros, Sporting Amateurs and Families. In a
team of three you can enter into various different events throughout the
3 valleys, such as: Derby thrill power, skicross madness, freeride, the
family schuss, the flying kilometre and the slalom XXL. At the
beginning of the race each team is presented with bibs and a log book,
and set off to take part in any or all of the events.

The three valleys ski area is one of the most popular skiing
destinations in the world. It boasts an impressive 600+ Kms of ski piste
with varied ski terrain and several learner areas. This makes it a
great destination for skiing groups of all abilities. The area has well
documented off piste skiing however it is recommended that you hire a
mountain guide if you want to get some of the best snow on the mountain
and remain in safe areas. The advantage of the three valleys is that it
is in fact several ski resorts collaborating to give you the best skiing
experience. This means you have several resorts to choose from, however
ski weekends only runs trips from Meribel and Brides les Bains. This is
because they offer the best value for money and are popular ski resorts
