Hotel Pointe Isabelle

Inside the hotel, you'll find a modern, stylish bar and bistro open daily for buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests booking with Ski Weekends stay on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Evening meals are not included but can be enjoyed in the hotel's lively restaurant, a popular local spot with a vibrant bar and occasional live music.

After skiing, you can unwind in the sauna or gym to stretch out tired muscles, or simply relax with friends. Practical touches include a large ski room with heated boot warmers and a luggage store, so you can make the most of your ski time even on arrival and departure days.

Did you know? The hotel is named after Isabella Straton, a pioneering British adventurer who, alongside her Chamonix guide husband, made history exploring the Alps in the Victorian era.

The Pointe Isabelle Hotel is located in central Chamonix, just 5 mins walk to the office de tourism.

• Distance to piste/lifts: Ski lifts & slopes are all accessed by the Chamonix Valley ski bus service. Ski bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel (150m). A walk to the Brevent gondola takes around 10-12 minutes.
• Distance to resort centre: The hotel is right in the centre of Chamonix
• Distance to ski hire shop: Ski Set Ginabelle Centre is a 2 minute walk from the hotel

There are 72 rooms in total. All rooms are comfortably furnished, have an ensuite with private bath or shower, WiFi, satellite TV and most have a balcony. 

Double/Twin Mountain View -  2 people, spacious room with double or twin beds, bathroom with shower and WC, balcony, views of Chamonix town and the surrounding mountains, 20m²

Double Mountain View -  2 people, spacious room with double (twins not possible), bathroom with shower and WC, balcony, views of Chamonix town and the surrounding mountains, 15m²

Double/Twin Superior - 2 people, double or twin beds, bathroom with shower and WC, balcony, views of Mont Blanc or the Chamonix mountains (some rooms with single sofa bed for children under 12), 23-27m²

Double Summit - 2 people, double bed (twins not possible), bathroom with shower and WC.  Situated on the top floor with views of the mountains or Chamonix town, 17m²

Superior Summit - 2 people, double or twin beds, bathroom with shower. Situated on the top floor with views of Mont Blanc and Chamonix town, 22m²

Triple Standard - 3 people, double bed and single bed or 3 single beds , bathroom with shower and WC, no balcony nor view,19m²

Triple Superior - 3 people, spacious room with double bed or 3 singles, bathroom with shower and WC, balcony with either Mont Blanc or Chamonix mountain views, 27m²

Quadruple Rooms - 4 people, ideal for 4 adults or a family, bathroom with shower and WC.  There are 2 types of quad room:
Large double bed and 2 single beds or 4 single beds, 27m²
Double or 2 single beds and a separate room with bunks, 34m²

Suites - The Pointe Isabelle features two elegant suites, each offering comfort and stunning Mont Blanc views:

Third-Floor Suite - A spacious retreat with a living room, sofas, and a flat-screen TV. It includes two double or twin bedrooms, with the option to connect a third. Guests can enjoy a private sauna and a balcony overlooking Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc massif. 54 m²

Top-Floor Suite - A cosy, well-appointed suite featuring a double bedroom, bathroom, and a large panoramic balcony. It comes equipped with a sauna, air conditioning, safe, desk, and chairs, all with breathtaking views of Chamonix and Mont Blanc. 29 m²

Single Room Standard - 1 person, single bed (90x200cm), bathroom with shower and WC, no balcony, no view, 13m²

Single Room Summit - 1 person, single bed (90x200cm), bathroom with shower and WC, situated on the top floor with no balcony, views of Chamonix town and surrounding mountains, 13m²

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately €1.70 per person, per day.

Underground private parking available at an extra charge.

Meeting and event rooms are available, for groups taking half board it is possible to dine together as a group using the hotels breakfast room.

You can arrive any day at the Pointe Isabelle Hotel with Ski Weekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 4pm.

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 10am.

There is free luggage storage prior to check-in on arrival day and after check-out on departure day with access to shower facilities.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Geneva Airport with us, it will drop you right at the door of the accommodation.
