Many people feel trepidation when it comes to the prospect of taking the children on a ski holiday, but there really is nothing to worry about, it has been noted.

Shona Sibary, writing for the Daily Mail, pointed out that being outside in the mountain air with the family is an experience that cannot be rivalled, and should not be missed by any winter sports enthusiast who has children.

As long as the family travels to a resort that has plenty to entertain the children and help to hone their skills - from nursery slopes to designated kids' zones – it should be a stress-free visit, she noted.

"It is possible to take children skiing and reap some entirely new rewards. Get certain things right and you may, if you're lucky, come home feeling mildly more rested than before you departed," Ms Sibary added.

Recently, noted that Les Gets has a reputation for being the best family-ski resort in all of France.

"It has won awards for its accommodation for children, including for skiing and childcare, and there are also other types of non-skiing activities for the whole family," the source explained.
