The weather conditions for ski weekends in Meribel are excellent at the moment and bode well for people heading on late-season trips to the resort, one source has noted.

In the Daily Mail's latest ski weather report, it notes that Meribel is experiencing some solid snowfall at the moment, meaning the slopes are nice and crisp and ideal for schussing and slaloming.

Additionally, the forecast is for similar conditions in the weeks ahead, so people booking last-minute ski weekends are unlikely to be disappointed.

It noted: "Meribel is skiing exceptionally well, along with ... Courchevel. The pistes are beautifully groomed."

Meanwhile, according to the Ski Club of Great Britain's snow report, the weather across Europe has been encouraging in the last few weeks, with big dumps of snow and regular flurries helping to keep the slopes in good shape.

The source said that Meribel in particular has experienced "significant" snowfall in the last few days.
