Environmentally-conscious travellers may wish to venture on short ski holidays by coach, as this method has been proven to be better for the planet.

According to the government's Act on CO2 campaign, going on bargain ski holidays by coach is far more environmentally-friendly than travelling by car and even twice as effective as going by train.

Research shows that a large car emits over 41kg of CO2 into the atmosphere per person, which the government classes as a "very high" amount, whereas a small car gives out a "high" 20.4kg.

In contrast, coach travel results in only 4.8kg per person on the average journey, which is classed as "low" and illustrates the eco-friendly benefits of going on bargain ski holidays by coach.

These advantages were also recently highlighted by TravelBite.co.uk, which stated that going on short ski holidays by coach is not only an inexpensive method of heading to the slopes, but also reduces carbon emissions significantly.
