No More Short-Haul Sandwiches!

07 August 2009
This is a move designed to help save the company £22million and will affect many skiers bound for European destinations. Whilst BA will continue to offer all passengers a free breakfast before 10:00am, the current offering (usually a sandwich) will be replaced with a bag of nuts or similar snacks and drinks. Passengers will not be given the option to purchase any food.

A BA spokesman said "It is not unusual to make small changes to avoid waste and save money where it makes sense and it meets customers' changing tastes."

BA has also changed their baggage policy, so the budget-conscious amongst you may want to consider an alternative means of getting to your destination and coach travel is one such option. SkiWeekends.com specialises in offering ski weekends and ski weeks by coach, a time and cost-efficient way to go skiing. So if you're after a cheap ski break, take a look at our prices today.
