Quick workout 'great preparation' for skiing holid

A fitness specialist has issued workout tips to people heading on skiing holidays to ensure they are in great condition for a trip to the slopes.

Men's Fitness posted some workout tips for male skiers and snowboarders heading away for the winter, recommending that a 30-minute workout will target all the major muscle groups and get people in tip-top shape.

"Calorie-torching speed circuits are great for fat loss. But they don't just help you shed the kilos – they'll get you fitter and stronger at the same time," it said.

The source added that ski squats are "perfect" for strength endurance, while adductor slides can also switch on the muscles that help to keep skis in line.

Meanwhile, people heading on skiing holidays in Brides Les Bains may find that sports massage is the perfect way to wind down after the first day on the slopes, the London Evening Standard recently said.
