People heading on short skiing holidays in Les Arcs in the coming months will find that the area is almost perfect, one expert has said.

The surrounding area, known as Paradiski, provides everything that people would expect on skiing holidays and will leave them with memories lasting a long time, said Simon O'Hagan, writing for the Independent.

He went with his family and found that there are plenty of runs to suit skiers of all abilities, with practice areas also allowing his daughters to hone their skills before heading out on the slopes.

"Calling somewhere Paradiski smacks rather of hubris and perfection in skiing comes in many guises. But for us, this was one trip that would be hard to improve upon," Mr O'Hagan said.

Meanwhile, those in town from January 25th to 29th for the Columbia Speed Flying Pro Les Arcs 2010 will be able to see some of the best speed fliers on the planet perform their moves.
