Val d'Isere is still a great place for people to travel on skiing holidays, according to one source.

The Ski Club of Great Britain noted that there has been heavy snowfall in Val d'Isere in the last few weeks, meaning that people looking for late-season ski breaks are unlikely to be disappointed.

It displayed an image of the resort covered in snow, with thick layers on the slopes proving perfect conditions for people on ski holidays to schuss and slalom down the slopes.

"As a picture taken by chalet company YSE in Val d'Isere early on Sunday March 28th showed, there were some great snowfalls in France this weekend. The Espace Killy resort reported 35cm of fresh snow on Sunday," it said.

Recently, the Tourist Info blog compiled a list of the best places to travel on a spring skiing holiday and said that Val d'Isere is one of the most reliable places for late-season snow.
