People on skiing holidays in Europe are experiencing excellent weather conditions which have made the top resorts even more popular, some experts have warned.

A Ski Club of Great Britain rep in La Plagne have reported that the snowfall in the area has been fantastic in recent days, combined with dazzling sun which has made conditions perfect for skiing.

"Excellent day, probably the best so far this season. Good light powder snow everywhere," the expert said.

Meanwhile, a rep in Meribel has said that the "wonderful blue skies, great skiing and warmer temperatures" have proved particularly alluring to people looking to head on a ski holiday in 2010.

Recently, industry expert John Shurme told the Ski Club of Great Britain's website that there has been fantastic snowfall across Europe in the last seven days, with resorts such as Meribel and La Plagne experiencing up to 15cm of the white stuff along with blue skies in the afternoon.
