The price of heading on short ski holidays has fallen dramatically, offering winter sports enthusiasts plenty of bargains, it has been claimed.

The Daily Mail reported that many companies have lowered prices so skiers and snowboarders can pick up discount ski breaks and head to the slopes without having to break the bank.

According to the source, many people are also going on different kinds of ski holidays than they used to, with some downgrading to cut costs while still heading on a trip which has all the trappings of a memorable break.

Industry expert Lisa Tyrrell told the newspaper: "Instead of going five star, people are settling for three star. They are picking up some really good last-minute deals."

Those who do book ski holidays this year may wish to head to Brides Les Bains, as a recent article on said that the resort should be on any person's wishlist due to its great scenery and accessibility to other parts of the Three Valleys region.
