Those taking short ski breaks in La Plagne in the coming week will be able to enjoy perfect conditions, it has been predicted.

According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, La Plagne is currently enjoying its snowiest days of the season, with 38 cm forecast for today.

It has been a snowy week in the region, with 15cm of fresh snow falling on Tuesday night across the whole area.

Following this weekend's heavier snowfall, cooler weather is expected, which should ensure that conditions remain ideal for anyone planning to get away for a short ski break.

La Plagne is regarded as one of the best-known high-altitude skiing resorts in the world, with ten self-contained villages each offering a different experience to visitors.

The Ski Club also reported that recent snowfall in the Three Valleys area has improved conditions in Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens - and more snow is on its way.
