Londons Freeze Festival

10 August 2010
Ski news brought to you by skiweekends.com, specialists in bargain ski holidays and ski holidays in France.

Britain's largest snow and music event is back at Battersea Power Station; 29th - 31st October.  Freeze welcomes the world's best skiers and snowboarders to compete on the purpose built 32m high, 100m long real snow ramp.  This is in addition to listening to a great music line-up...  the first round of artists announced are Roni Size, Krafty Kuts and Bedouin Soundclash, who will perform in the main stage tent.  An après ski village is also on site to quench the thirst!  All this in October is sure to get the buzz going for the ski holiday season ahead.  The festival also has a retail park to get some ski and board gear ready to hit the slopes on that next ski break.

Music and comedy festivals are held at ski resorts throughout the winter, the most popular include the `Altitude' Festival in Meribel, `Snowbombing' in Mayrhofen and the `big snow' festival in Andorra.  The festivals are a great way of combining the vibe of a festival with the fun of the snow!
