SNOW CONDITIONS IN FLAINE
Despite sitting at a relatively low altitude, Flaine sees a superb natural cover and is still considered a snow-sure resort. This is mainly due to the fact that its main bowls are all north facing and seem to hold their snow well throughout the season. As well as terrific snowmaking facilities, which some of the lower runs outside of the bowl definitely benefit from, the grooming and general snow maintenance throughout the resort is excellent by any standards.
