LES ARCS

Travel sustainably - leaf icon

Les Arcs sits right on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. The breathtaking setting gives you some truly wonderful views of the surrounding peaks and mountain landscapes. Les Arcs is a purpose built resort and is made up of four separate villages, Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 all of which are linked and offer you doorstep access to the Paradiski ski area. The Vanoise Express is a double decker, glass bottom cable car that allows you to explore the nearby resort of La Plagne for those that really want to stretch their ski legs!

Les Arcs is a popular choice for a ski holiday because of it's varied terrain, snow sure altitude and it's vast ski area thanks to the links with La Plagne.

LES ARCS TOP TIPS
  • The ski run from the top of the Aiguille Rouge goes all the way down to Villaroger, that's 2km in height and 7km long! You can either take the black, slightly more direct or a red at the top and then blue.
  • For some lively après ski head to the Red Hot Saloon (Red Bar). There is often live music on and it has a great atmosphere.
  • Enjoy an extra few minutes in bed! The lifts in Les Arcs open at 9.15am rather than 9am.
  • Head to the Bar Mont Blanc just above the Grizzly chairlift. Stop for a beer/hot chocolate/bowl of chips in the day, or go there for après and enjoy the live music/DJ. The bar is open til late too.
