ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS IN MORZINE
With a large indoor and outdoor ice rink, two cinemas and a well sized indoor pool, Morzine certainly caters well for those after some of the hill activity. The village itself is full of life and offers a range of sporting and cultural activities alongside the more traditional mountain pastimes like skiing and snowboarding. These include tobogganing, ice skating, swimming, watching ice hockey and even excursions to the local cheese factory.
Another popular après ski activity is to take the Gondola up the Plèny and toboggan or snowshoe down guided routes toward the Valley. Furthermore, for those who are not intent on skiing every day, there are plenty of Alpine shops selling local produce such as Genepi and Tomme de Savoie cheese, along with local knick-knacks - perfect for gift shopping.
Last but not least, however, is the opportunity to do without a doubt one of the best activities available in a ski resort; a helicopter tour. Check out the mountains from a different perspective, hovering above the slopes for one of the most unforgettable experiences you can find!
