Courchevel Moriond Resort Guide

01 January 0001

The extensive ski area, friendly village atmosphere and not-too-extortionate prices makes Courchevel Moriond (1650) a popular choice amongst holiday goers. Although 1650 is smaller than neighbouring 1850, it does have a lively atmosphere with a great selection of bars and restaurants which you will find are pleasantly cheaper than 1850. Bars in Courchevel Moriond have regular live bands, plenty of dancing and offer a wide range of entertainment. For dining out, you will be greeted with a variety of choices from luxury cuisine right through to cheap and cheerful pizzerias.

There is a good selection of shops here including a supermarket which is very handy for the self-caterers. There is a free bus that links all four Courchevel villages from early morning until around 1am so it’s easy to get out and explore other villages for a change of scenery. Courchevel 1650 is also a great place to stop for an afternoon drink out on one of the sun soaked terraces that several of the restaurants and bars possess, so sit back, relax, and enjoy your ski break with Ski Weekends!
