French Ski Resort Opening Dates 2023

We hope you're as excited as we are for the 2023 / 2024 ski season! December didn't start well at all last season, so cross your fingers for good snowfall across the Alps in November! That said, March and April last season was superb, so here's hoping the season snow levels even out!

If like us you're desperate to hit the slopes early this season, then feast your eyes on the info below - it shows the dates for when the top ski resorts in France will be open for business!

The higher, snow sure resorts of Val Thorens, Tignes and Les Deux Alpes will be open first, but check back on this page for date changes, following any official updates from the resorts themselves.

All dates are subject to snow conditions, and any changes with regards travel and Coronavirus (fingers crossed!).
