Where Is Your Solo Trip This Season?

Your base for the four night trip will be the lovely Chalet Monique, part of the SkiWeekends catered chalet collection. The chalet has 12 en-suite bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 24. The chalet will be exclusively for solos between 20th March and 24th March 2024.

The chalet is situated in the centre of Courchevel 1650, a stones throw from the shops, bars and restaurants, and less than a 5 minute walk to the Ariondaz gondola that gives you access to the wonderful Three Valleys ski area. You can finish your day with a lovely blue piste straight back to the bottom of the gondola.

Tell Me More About The Chalet!

Chalet Monique has it's own chalet team, panoramic lounge views, as well as an outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day on the piste. A typical day starts with a continental breakfast and a scrummy hot option, which changes each day. On your return from the slopes you can enjoy home-made cake, tea and coffee before heading to the outdoor hot tub. In the evening, your chalet team will prepare and serve a hearty 3-course meal along with complimentary red, white or rose wine. We are more than happy to cater for special dietary requirements, just let us know when you book :)

Can I Bring A Friend?

Sadly not! These are solo ski holidays for solos and singles only, where you will meet new friends to ski with. If you would like to book a ski holiday with a friend, partner or family member we have lots of other holiday options to choose from.

Is this a dating ski break?

No, not at all. Try to think of our solo ski breaks as shared catered chalet holidays for individual skiers/snowboarders and sociable solo travellers.

Will there be a ski guide?

No, but we will  arrange meet up times and suggested itineraries for intermediates & advanced skiers each day.  Beginners please book lessons - ask our ski experts for a ski school referral.

Who will I meet in the chalet?

Aside from our friendly, knowledgeable Chalet Hosts, you will be sharing the chalet with other solo skiers/boarders just like you, plus perhaps a few skiers who already know each other but would like to mix with others. Typically SkiWeekends chalet guests range from age 30 - 65 and comfortable on blues and reds, but there will always be a range of ages and abilities.

Are transfers included?

Yes! Shared transfers are included in the price. If for any reason you don't want or can't make the shared transfer, you can upgrade to a private transfer for a supplement, or if you wish to self drive (there are 3 car parking spaces at the chalet) then we are happy to discount the transfer fee off your package price. Please ask for availability when booking.

Do I have to join in with everyone?

Not at all. This is your holiday after all, so you can ski as much as you like, socialise as much as you like. There are no formal or pre-arranged group activities. Everything is casual. Your 3-course chalet dinner is at a set time each evening, but if for whatever reason you don't want to join, simply let the chalet host know as soon as you can and we can help with any alternative arrangements you may need.

Will I have to share a bedroom?

Yes and No! We usually put solos that are the same gender and roughly the same age together in a shared twin room. Please let us know any other preference when booking. We also have the option where you can have a room to yourself, but this does increase the price.

Will there be children in the chalet?

No. These dates have been specifically reserved for adults only.

How do I book?

You can fill in the form after clicking the button at the bottom of this page, or you can call our friendly Ski Experts on 02380 206971 or email us at sales@skiweekends.com. We'll then get back to you to confirm availability, and if you're happy with everything you'll then need to pay a £200pp deposit to confirm your booking.
