Why Are We Organising Ladies Only Ski Trips This Winter?
From Sarah Fox, our co-founder:
"As a female skier, from my mid 30's onwards I realised I was losing my female ski buddies, and over the years I have met many women skiers who have shared the same experience. Our female ski buddies have dropped out for many reasons, but they would like to ski again if they could find a female only ski group to join; where there is joy skiing at a pace where there is time to look at the wonderful Alpine scenery, time to stop to chat and laugh, time for the mid morning coffee and cake, time for lunch in the sunshine with a wonderful glass of French Rose wine, and time for an Aperol Spritz stop in the sunshine, before the final swoosh home, to relax in the jacuzzi, chat around the fire with a cup of tea or dance on the tables in an apres bar. All this while being wined and dined by a Chalet Host, so all you need to do is focus on having a brilliant holiday with a lot of laughter."

Whether you are happy on blues, reds and blacks, this trip is designed for those who ski blue runs and above, for skiers or snowboarders.

- A 4-night catered chalet womens group ski holiday to Chalet Marjorie in central Les Gets, France
- Enjoy Classic Plus chalet board and choose either a shared room with en-suite facilities, a twin room to yourself with shared en-suite facilities, or a single room to yourself
- There are up to 16 spaces on this ladies ski holiday - book as a solo or bring a friend
- 2 x mornings (Monday & Tuesday) of ski guiding with instruction included

What's Included In The Trip?
- 4-nights accommodation at Chalet Marjorie (the ladies on the trip will have the upper two floors of the chalet and a few rooms on the ground floor - there will be a few other small adult group bookings in the chalet, staying on the ground floor at the same time)
- Breakfast on 4 mornings, hot drinks & home-made cake daily
- Three-course evening meal with complimentary wine served on 3-nights (Wednesday night is the Chalet Hosts night off)
- Dietary requirements catered for (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). Please let us know when booking
- Shared, return transfers from Geneva Airport
- Fantastic service from our friendly, knowledgeable and if we may say so, amazing Chalet Hosts, helping you choose where to ski, the best spots for lunch and arranging apres ski

- Flights - but we are happy to help you find the right ones to tie in with our shared transfers (see below)

- Ski equipment - can be booked through SkiWeekends as an optional extra
- Lift pass - can be booked through SkiWeekends as an optional extra
- Dinner on Wednesday evening

Optional Extras
Equipment Hire - see options and prices for you to choose what to book in Les Gets. Depending on your flights, you can ski up to 4.5 days on this holiday.
Lift Passes - we'd recommend the local Morzine Les Gets pass. See options and prices . If you wish to upgrade for one day away to Avoriaz this can be done in resort. Booking your lift pass before you travel will ensure it is waiting for you in the chalet on arrival :)
Shared Transfers – essential information before you book flights
Return Shared Geneva airport transfers are included in your chalet holiday:
Arriving Sunday 8th March 2026 - Please book flights scheduled to land no later than 4pm
- You will be booked onto the first available transfer; this is normally within 2 hours of your scheduled flight landing time
- Note: if your flight is delayed by more than one hour this may result in an additional cost (see T&C's re flight delays)
Returning Thursday 12th March 2026 - Please book flights scheduled to depart after 11:00am
- You will be scheduled onto a transfer to check in at the airport around 2 - 3 hours before your flight departs
Shared transfers to Chalet Marjorie will be door to door in an 8 seater minibus or a coach.
If the shared transfer times are not suitable or don't work for your chosen flights, please enquire about private transfer upgrades, which are available at an extra cost.
Please advise us before travel of any ski or snowboard bags you are bringing with you, for us to book a transfer that can accommodate oversized bags.
If you would like an early transfer from Geneva Airport to Les Gets, to be on the slopes in the morning, we recommend upgrading to a private transfer - please ask our Ski Experts for a quote.

Is there an example itinerary?

- Arrival of all guests in to Geneva Airport
- Transfer to Courchevel 1650 (approx. 2.5 hours)
- Check in to the chalet, meet other guests, and pick up your ski equipment from the hire shop
- Go skiing or enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring Courchevel 1650

Friday

Can I Bring A Friend?
Yes, you can book with a friend or book as a solo.
Will there be a ski guide?
Yes! in Courchevel on one of the days there will be a qualified instructor guide with you all day, and in Les Gets there will be a qualified instructor guide with you on two mornings. They will help you get to know the pistes and to give you ski tips to help you have a happy safe ski, and maybe even improve your technique.
Who will I meet in the chalet?
Aside from our friendly, knowledgeable male and female Chalet Hosts, you will be sharing the chalet with other female skiers/boarders. We are aware there will always be a range of ages and abilities, so don't worry, the ski area we have been chosen is suitable for blue runs, mixing in some red and black runs only if you wish.
In Chalet Marjorie the ladies trip will have the bedrooms and lounge on the upper two floors and a few rooms on the ground floor of the chalet - there will be other small mixed adult group bookings in the chalet at the same time on the ground floor.
Are transfers included?
Yes! Shared transfers are included in the price. If for any reason you don't want or can't make the shared transfer, you can upgrade to a private transfer for a supplement, or if you wish to self drive then we are happy to discount the transfer fee. Please ask for parking space availability and self drive discount when booking.
Do I have to join in with everyone?
Not at all. This is your holiday after all, so you can ski as much as you like, socialise as much as you like. There are no formal or pre-arranged group activities. Everything is casual. Your evening meals will be at a set time each evening, but if for whatever reason you don't want to join, simply let the chalet host know as soon as you can.
Will I have to share a bedroom?
Yes and No! You can choose to book a shared or sole use room. Shared room guests will be put together with another guest that is roughly the same age. Prices for shared and single sole use rooms are displayed above.
Which trip is best for me?
If you prefer a relaxed, more chilled out trip that is more geared to cruisy blues, we recommend the trip to Chalet Marjorie in Les Gets. If you want to ski all day long ever day and then apres into the evening and later, then we would recommend Chalet Mouria in Courchevel.
Will there be children in the chalet?
No. These dates have been specifically reserved for adults only.
Can I contact fellow skiers/boarders on the same trip before the holiday?
Before you travel you will be invited to join a WhatsApp group with all the other female guests on your trip. Before travel you can use this to arrange to meet at the airport, or at the chalet to go skiing on arrival. During the trip the WhatsApp group is invaluable for keeping in touch with where to ski, lunch options and apres ski, and of course sharing very happy holiday photos and memories.
