Hotel Le Refuge des Aiglons

Situated just a short stroll from the centre of Chamonix and moments from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, Le Refuge des Aiglons places you in the heart of the action. At the centre of the hotel is the Lifespace – an open-plan hub that flows between a lounge, cocktail bar, restaurant, and communal work and relaxation areas. It's a space designed for connection, conversation, and comfort.

The hotel’s bar is a destination in itself. Run by a passionate and knowledgeable team, it features a huge selection of drinks and is a great place to unwind at the end of the day.  The terrace offers fabulous views of Mont Blanc.  Right inside the hotel you'll find BAM Karaoke Box, Chamonix’s go-to for a funky, retro-chic private karaoke experience. With two exclusive rooms (8 person Bloom Boom and 10 person Funky Flow), this alpine hideaway blends disco vibes and plush interiors—perfect for group sing-alongs or private celebrations 

Skiweekends guests can book on either a bed & breakfast basis.  The on-site restaurant offers a menu of seasonal, wholesome, and hearty dishes, served year-round. Guests can dine at large communal tables for a sociable atmosphere or opt for smaller, more intimate seating areas. Whether you're refuelling after a day on the slopes or settling in for a relaxed evening, the restaurant delivers both flavour and flexibility.

After a day in the mountains guests can unwind in the hotel’s 300m² spa and fitness area, in partnership with Deep Nature. Facilities include an outdoor heated pool with incredible Mont Blanc views, sauna, steam room, and a wide range of treatments (payable locally).  A fully equipped fitness room is available for those who like to stay active.

The Refuge des Aiglons is located in Chamonix Sud and is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of town.

• Distance to piste/lifts: the hotel is a 15-minute walk to the Brevent gondola and the ski bus to access all locations in Chamonix valley stops outside the hotel.
• Distance to resort centre: the centre of Chamonix can be reached with a 5-10 minutes walk.
• Distance to ski hire shop: SkiSet Aiguille du Midi is located on next to the cable car, a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Le Refuge des Aiglons features 107 cosy, creatively styled rooms, inspired by traditional alpine lodges but with a contemporary twist. Rooms are fully equipped for comfort and convenience, making it easy to settle in and relax after a day in the mountains. In room amenities include: quality double or twin beds, bathroom with bath or shower, bathrobes & slippers, toiletries, tea & coffee, mini bar, TV and safe.

Classic Room – Simply and practically furnished, a double bed (twin on request) bathroom with bath (or shower) and separate WC. Approx 20m², ideal for up to 2 guests.

Mont Blanc Superior Room – Comfortably furnished with a double bed (twin on request), bathroom and WC, and a balcony with mountain views. Approx 25m².

Classic Attic Room – Cozy under roof styling with double bed (twin on request), bathroom and WC. Approx 20m², for 2 adults.

Classic Mont Blanc Balcony Room – Simply and practically furnished with double bed (twin on request), bath/shower and WC, plus private balcony overlooking Mont Blanc. Approx 20m².

Superior Attic Room – Warm, functional décor under the eaves, double bed (twin on request), bathroom and WC, with balcony. Approx 25m².

Junior Balcony Suite – Elegantly furnished with separate bedroom and lounge (sofa bed), bathroom and WC, plus private balcony. Approx 40m², sleeps up to 4.

Mont Blanc Suite – Spacious and practically designed with a double bedroom, separate second bedroom and living area, bathroom and WC, with balcony boasting Mont Blanc views. Approx 50m², accommodates up to 6.

Resort tax is paid locally and is approximately €2.50 per person, per day.

There is a ski hire shop on-site and lift passes are available to purchase at reception.

You can arrive any day at the Le Refuge des Aiglons with SkiWeekends, and there is a minimum 3 night stay, subject to seasonal variations.

Check In: available from 4pm

Check Out: you will need to vacate your room by 12pm (noon).

There is free luggage storage prior to check-in on arrival day and after check-out on departure day with access to shower facilities.

If you would like to book a shared, return mini-bus transfer from Geneva Airport with us, it will drop you right at the door of the hotel.
