Meet Dan, our Managing Director and Co-Owner

Meet Dan Fox, Owner & Managing Director

Dan has been passionate about the mountains since he first skied with school in the 90’s. His love of the mountains has always been mirrored by the desire to encourage others to share the experience. Dan's premise is to treat everyone as if they were a member of his family.

Dan's career has taken him from Engineering to being a ski instructor and then heading overseas as a ski guide. He’s been in travel ever since, has managed chalets and hotels, contracted, bought and sold property, with his career progressing to General Manager for the French and Swiss Operations of Neilson and TUI.

SkiWeekends has been a way of life more than a job and it has resulted in a quadrupling of the business and ten times the number of resorts. Dan believes SkiWeekends should constantly strive to lead the short breaks market and his mission is to make sure everyone can get more time on the pistes!

Meet Sarah Fox - Sales Director and Co-owner

Meet Sarah Fox, Owner & Sales Director

Sarah's first taste of skiing on snow was on a ‘Try a Day Ski' in Jasper, Canada during a road trip around the Rockies. Little did she know, this would be the start of what was to become a lifetime of talking, working and being obsessed with skiing! Sarah learnt to ski at university and has skied every year since. She skis at least once a month from December through to April, visiting SkiWeekends chalets and exploring new resorts for the company. Sarah loves that her job takes her to fantastic European ski destinations.

Sarah's favourite thing about SkiWeekends is skiing and learning about the many different ski resorts and their own unique cultures in Europe. She loves sharing this knowledge to help people book the right ski trip.

Meet Charlie, one of our Sales Ski Experts

Meet Charlie Robbins, Ski Expert

Charlie is one of our Ski Experts and has been skiing since a young age where she quickly caught the ski bug from her school trips! Charlie loved school ski trips so much that she did her first ski season helping out with other school trips, helping to organise the fun evening entertainment!

Charlie realised her true passion and decided to save up for a ski instructor course in Mont Tremblant. After returning to real life to become an accountant, it seemed that the call of the mountains was just too strong, and she realised that all she wanted to do was ski and went back to the Alps, working for ski Olympic as a ski host in La Plagne. Her favourite place to ski is Espace Killy for the great off-piste.

Meet Alex, one of our Sales Ski Experts

Meet Alex Hutchins, Ski Expert

Alex joined the SkiWeekends team as a Ski Expert and is a keen member of the sales team. Alex has been "attempting" to learn to ski for 8 or 9 years now and has been snow-ploughing the slopes of Europe ever since.

Alex loves creating the ideal trip for SkiWeekends guests and has done for the past few years. Using his passion & enthusiasm for the mountains, he will have you out on that terrace with a beer in hand before you know it!

Meet Vicki one of our Ski Experts

Meet Vicki Cheal, Ski Expert

Vicki permanently joined the SkiWeekends sales team, after working a seasonal role here in the office in 2013. Her first ever ski trip was for her 21st birthday to Arinsal in Andorra and she has enjoyed skiing ever since. She completed two winter seasons in 1999/2000 and 2000/2001, working for the First Choice admin office in the Courchevel and the Val D'Arly ski areas. Since then, she has worked for two other French ski tour operators and has a huge total of 10 winter sales seasons under her belt.

Vicki's favourite thing about working at SkiWeekends is being able to talk about skiing all day long and the great team she is surrounded by!
