Meribel Little World festival is back
The famous Little World Festival returns to Meribel this weekend, providing those on ski weekends in the resort with plenty of entertainment to keep them entertained.
International acts including The Feeling and Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be returning to the stage after playing last year's event, while the 70s and 80s favourites Squeeze will also be attendance.
Other performers including Freemasons and Ed Hardcourt will be thrilling the masses in attendance, with dozens of gigs taking place between Sunday, March 13th and Friday, March 18th.
"The festival combines six days of skiing and boarding with entertainment from bands and DJs. Forty live events are planned throughout the week from intimate bar gigs to a free outdoor concert on the piste," Metro Snow commented.
Little World Festival was the brainchild of The Feeling, who originally performed as a cover band in the three Valleys a decade ago, eventually naming it after their hit single Fill My Little World.
