Ski Resorts With A Folie Douce

"Which ski resorts have a Folie Douce?" is probably the most common question we get asked by those looking to go on a ski holiday to France.

Well, the good news is there are currently 8 ski resorts with a Folie Douce across France! Folie Douce Meribel / Courchevel - our favourite, and probably the best Folie Douce bar in France!

Folie Douce Val d'Isere / Tignes - our second favourite (just remember to ski in the right direction home, or it's an expensive taxi ride!). Located at the top of the La Daille gondola in Val d'Isère.

Folie Douce Avoriaz - right next to our 5 catered chalets in Avoriaz!

Folie Douce Val Thorens - the highest Folie Douce bar in France? The Plein Sud lift goes over the top of the bar, so you can check when it all kicks off! Located at the top of the Plein Sud and Pionniers chairlifts.

Folie Douce Alpe d'Huez - another cracking bar in the Southern Alps.

Folie Douce Megeve / Saint Gervais - one of the newer venues, but still packs a punch.

Folie Douce Les Arcs - Another relatively new bar (2019) in the brilliant resort of Les Arcs.

Folie Douce Chamonix - a different experience in Chamonix...the Folie Douce here is a hotel, so expect great apres, as well as cabaret acts during dinner!

The après ski parties kick off at the Folie Douce venues around 3pm each day, with a mix of house, techno and cabaret acts that keep you partying until around 7pm. The Folie Douce's unique blend of DJ's, professional dancers and live musicians have made the Folie Douce bars the place to go to once you've finished skiing in France.
