Role Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role are to drive sales, maximising conversion of enquiries to hit targets. The role focusses on delivering a high level of service to customers and agents, from initial enquiry to delivery of their holiday, matching the right holiday with their requirements and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail for all elements of their booking.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls, emails and online bookings and assist customers in choosing and booking holidays
  • Supporting agent partners to maximize their sales
  • Work to targets to ensure maximum sales revenue and margins
  • Identify customer needs and pro-actively sell additional services e.g. insurance and ski pack items
  • Pro-actively use product knowledge to support switch-selling techniques and maximise enquiry conversion rates
  • Use internal computer packages to make reservations, administer bookings/queries, make amendments, or reply to customer correspondence
  • Complete any required administration related to customers’ holidays, including accounts, ticketing and post travel feedback in line with Company, Insurers and ABTA guidelines and timescales
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the Operations team and the Overseas team, to ensure strong and consistent teamwork
  • Participate in the Company’s out of hours ‘on call’ rota as required to assist customers on departure
  • Represent the Company at key marketing events e.g. ski shows
  • Minimise losses to the Company through due diligence and attention to detail
  • Any other work as may be reasonably asked by the Company

  • Enthusiasm and a desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Capacity to co-ordinate and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Work calmly under pressure
  • A good team player who brings out the best in their colleagues and shows ambition for team success
  • Competent on Microsoft applications and comfortable learning new computer systems
  • Highly motivated, positive in attitude and committed to business growth
  • Adaptable in approach, embraces change positively and is flexible around the needs of a business
  • Desire to continually develop Skiweekends product knowledge
  • At ease working with numbers to work out accurate pricing
  • Proactively using all sales leads effectively
