Long Ski Weekend Break - How It Works Graphic

NOTE: This is an example itinerary; exact times will vary according to specific flights and resorts booked.

Day 1 - Thursday

Get packing your bags the night before, or in the morning if you're an early bird. Then, after a day at work, your ski weekend starts here...

  • Check in early evening at your chosen London or regional UK airport at around 6pm. Chill out in the airport, or maybe treat yourself to some fizz or a beer in the airport lounge, putting work behind you.
  • Fly around 8pm to arrive at Geneva at 10.30pm to be met by a SkiWeekends representative, and be whisked up to your chosen ski resort where you will be given your pre-booked lift pass and equipment hire voucher, with directions to the hire shop.
  • 11.30pm arrive at your chalet or hotel and be greeted by a SkiWeekends representative or hotel staff, where (if requested at the time of booking) supper will be waiting for you and time for a sneaky little drink before unpacking and settling down for a restful night sleep ahead of a great day skiing or boarding.
  • Overnight chalet or hotel accommodation

Ski or Board Day 2 - Friday

  • After breakfast, collect your hire equipment and head for the slopes!
  • After a great days skiing enjoy dinner in your hotel (if you've chosen a half board option) or 3-course meal with wine in your chalet
  • Overnight chalet or hotel accommodation

Ski or Board Day 3 - Saturday

  • After a hearty Skiweekends breakfast, head for the slopes and ski or board more of the ski area.
  • After a great days skiing or boarding, enjoy the dinner option.
  • Overnight chalet or hotel accommodation

Ski or Board Day 4 - Sunday

  • After breakfast, head for the slopes once more; with large ski weekend areas like Chamonix, Three Valleys and the Portes du Soleil (Avoriaz and Morzine), no two days need be the same.
  • Return to your chalet or hotel for a well-earned drink and dinner.
  • A Skiweekends Rep will contact you today ahead of tomorrow's departure with your transfer details.
  • Overnight chalet or hotel accommodation

Ski or Board Day 5 - Monday

NOTE:This fourth day on the slopes is only possible when your booking includes an evening flight home.

  • Check out of your chalet or hotel room and use the bag storage so you can head for the slopes for a final days ski, a long lunch and a great last run down to the your accommodation where a room will be made available for you to shower and change ahead of your journey home.
  • 5.30pm - a Skiweekends organised transfer will take you to Geneva airport for your evening flight home, landing in the UK at 10pm, with plenty of time for a good night sleep and dreams of a great ski weekend away.
