Alm Resort Frühauf

 

The Hotel Alm-Resort family owned and is generally snowsure, located in the middle of the Carinthian, Nockberge Mountains, in the area of Innerkrems. With a cosy Alpine feel and a warm, friendly ambience, this is a hotel where you and your family can truly relax. There are three interconnecting properties, with reception in the main building.

 

Your meals are prepared with care, using ingredients from the local farm and other locally sourced products. There is an excellent buffet breakfast, offering a considerable range of choices and served until 10:00. At lunchtime there is soup, a main course or a salad buffet, then from 13:30-17:00, after your day on the slopes or trying one of the many other alpine activites, you'll find homemade cake or a savoury option.  Finally, in the evening a 4 course menu and themed buffet.

 

As an all inclusive hotel, your drinks are included from 10:00 until 22:00 and you can choose from local soft and hot drinks, a range of alcoholic drinks, including beer on tap, house wine and selected bottled wines, long drinks and spirits, coffee and tea. Drinks are available from 12:00 on the day of your arrival until breakfast on the day of your departure.

 

The hotel has been expanded to offer an excellent range of leisure facilities, including separate family and adult wellness areas; for adults, +16 years, the rustic alpine area is finished in wood, stone and natural textures and here you can unwind in the sauna, steam room, on the loungers or relaxing massage chairs and you could indulge in a massage, payable at the hotel. You may also choose to enjoy a sauna or rainforest shower with your family. If you are feeling like a workout, try the fitness room, small in size but with a range of modern equipment and weights. You will most definitely want to try the heated indoor and outdoor pools, the latter where you will discover a wonderful mountain panorama. Large bath towels are provided for the wellness area and if you would like a cosy bathrobe, these can be found at reception, for a deposit. With your little ones in mind, the indoor pool has a toddler area. 

 

There is a weekly programme of activities and events for you and your children: this includes live music one evening, a cocktail afternoon, guided ski tour and snowshoe hike, (the hotel will arrange your additional rental equipment), torchlit hike, floodlit toboggan run, family curling, pony or alpaca rides, early evening roasted chestnuts and so much more.
