The Alpen Roc is a chalet hotel, built in the Savoyard style and well-located at the centre of La Clusaz, a small traditional village. The hotel is located 100 metres from the shops, restaurants and cinema and is only 150 metres from the cable car, giving you access to excellent skiing.

The rooms are a designed in a combination of wood and soft, calm tones and all rooms have an ensuite bathroom, tv, WiFi and safe.

The hotel has its own restaurant, a lounge bar with a cosy fireplace and outdoor sun terace. Your Ski Weekends will be either bed & breakfast or half board with an added all inclusive element:

Bed & Breakfast

  • Buffet breakfast served between 7 and 10 am
  • Drinking fountains (sodas, wine, beer, hot drinks) from 10 am to 10.50 pm
  • Goûter (cake, brioche) from 4 pm
  • Aperitif at the bar (with or without alcohol) from 6 and 10.50pm

Half Board

  • Buffet breakfast served between 7 and 10 am
  • Drinking fountains (sodas, wine, beer, hot drinks) from 10 am to 10.50 pm
  • Goûter (cake, brioche) from 4 pm
  • Aperitif at the bar (with or without alcohol) from 6 and 10.50pm
  • Buffet dinner between 7 to 9 pm (with wine, soft drinks)

For your relaxation, at the end of your day skiing, there is a modern wellness area with mountain views and you will have the benefit of free access to the small swimming pool, hammam, jacuzzi and sauna. 

Location

The Hotel Alpen Roc is located in the centre of La Clusaz, and close to all the amenities. The hotel is a short 2-3 minute walk to the Cret du Merle Ski Lift.
 
Rooms
All 108 rooms have ensuite bathroom, ususally a shower over a bath, hairdryer, safe, satellite TV and free WiFi access.  

Double/twin room - 2 people, double or twin beds (request when booking), from 20m2
Triple room - 3 people, double or twin beds (request when booking) with extra bed, from 20m2
Family room - 2 adults, 2 children (under 12), double bed plus bunks, from 20m2
Quadruple room - 4 people, 2 seperate sleeping areas with double or twin beds (request when booking), 30 to 40m2

Flexible arrival days and minimum 3 night stays, both subject to seasonal variation.
 

Transfers

Geneva airport transfers available at a supplement:

  • Private transfers
  • Shared transfers - Shuttle bus runs every two hours from 10am to 8pm

Useful Information

Shared transfers will take SkiWeekends guests to the Bus Station in La Clusaz, Gare Routiere. From here you will need to make own way to and from the hotel.  You would take the No. 1, 7 or 8 bus to the first stop, 'Les Houches', outside the hotel.  If you choose to walk from the Bus Station, is is approximately 8 minutes.

Resort tax paid locally and is approximately €1.60 per person, per day.

This hotel is excellent for couples and smaller groups.

At Ski Weekends we really love the central location, the fireplace in the lounge and the views from the sunny terrace.
