Skiers and boarders alike are invited to take part in the Luttman-Johnson challenge in Zermatt next month.

Taking place on February 4th, this race sees participants dash between restaurants in Zermatt, with the key objective being to spend as much time as possible in each.

However, those who wish to take the challenge at a slower pace can join the less competitive 'trail', while resort workers and experienced skiers and boarders race ahead.

Organised by the Ski Club of Great Britain, this year's event will be running in partnership with the Show Love Tour.

As well as free drinks and entry into raffles, the tour will bring a programme of entertainment to Zermatt that is not to be missed.

One of the best bases for a short ski break in Zermatt is the picturesque village of Tasch, where there is a range of restaurants serving Swiss and international dishes.

Tasch is also well located for those looking to enjoy the livelier apres-ski in Zermatt, with the last train heading back at a sleepy 2 am.
