PLACES FOR LUNCH

Courchevel has some fantastic restaurants serving up a variety of dishes from traditional Savoyard classics through to pizzas, so there’s something to suit all tastes. Restaurants in Courchevel can be pricey but there are a couple of affordable options such as around the shopping mall (or the Place du Forum to the locals) in the centre, you’ll find plenty places for a hearty meal and reasonably priced.

Hotel St Louis is a restaurant located just off the Bellecote piste. It serves up reasonably prices lunches on a lovely little terrace which catches the sun during lunch hours. Alternatively, the Restaurant Le KuDeTa offers American style food at reasonable prices. Here you can enjoy your lunch in the village whilst still being able to watch skiers ploughing down the slopes.

Located at 2100 meters high is the Restaurant Le Cap Horn. It is one of the highest restaurants in the Three Valleys and has easy access for skiers. This restaurant specialises in seafood and sushi with a cellar that we’re told has over 900 different wines.

For a sense of class and sophistication, Le 1947 is a Two-Michelin star restaurant. Located in a slope-side location, guests will enjoy the unique experience here, catering to just 25 guests every evening in a single sitting.

PLACES FOR DINNER

Le White is a restaurant in one of the most prestigious hotels in Courchevel – Hotel Cheval Blanc. The south-facing terrace welcomes guests for a luxury stop-over any time of the day and offers a bistro-style seating.

The three restaurants in Courchevel that have Two-Michelin stars are Le Chabichou, La Bateau Ivre and Pierre Gagnaire pour Les Airelles. Each offers something a little different and all have considerable merits.

If you want to escape the French cuisine for a night, then the La Cendree restaurant is Italian and offers some truly exquisite cuisine along with a fantastic selection of Italian wines.

Something a bit more reasonably priced is La Mangeoire. Here guests can enjoy traditional French cuisine. Dishes are generous and the restaurant offers a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The living room here allows you to relax whilst listening to all different styles of music.

Here in Courchevel, you will find some of the best raclette and fondue at the restaurant La Fromagerie. Whether you want to try a delicious cheese fondue or fried camembert, this restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Star for its top quality food and service.
