Snow Conditions in Grindelwald

Sittin gat the foot of the impressive Eiger face, Grindelwald is a resort that recevies good levels of snowfall but can bet let down by its low resort elevation. Located at 1034m, the village of Grindelwald suffers with poor snow cover on the home heading runs. Elsewhere the picture is completely different, snow quality on the upper slopes tend to be excellent. Grindelwald is best avoided late into the season.

Is Grindelwald snow sure? Although variably conditions prevail, high elevation slopes of Grindelwald are very snow sure, often covered with fresh powder.
