The local pass for Kaprun, typically referred to as the Kitzsteinhorn-Kaprun lift pass, covers 61 km of piste and provides access to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the nearby Maiskogel family ski area. This pass is ideal for those focusing on skiing or snowboarding in Kaprun, offering access to a variety of slopes, from beginner to expert levels, as well as the unique experience of glacier skiing.
The Zell am See-Kaprun area pass covers 140 km of piste and offers access to both the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the Maiskogel ski area in Kaprun, as well as the Schmittenhöhe ski resort in nearby Zell am See.
