Les Arcs restaurant

PLACES FOR LUNCH

Les Arcs has some stunning mountain restaurants to enjoy a nice long lunch with some superb views, starting with Le Bistrot du Solliet restaurant in Villaroger. This lovely restaurant has a beautiful terrace to sit outside on in the sunshine, but also has a cosy fire inside for when the sun is in hiding! The food that you get in here is a great mix of traditional French cuisine and a variety of different Savoyard specialities and it is great even if you just fancy popping in for elevenses’!

Another great destination for a hearty mountain lunch is the Chalet Pre Saint Esprit located in Arc 1950 which has two different areas. It has a traditional dining area with table service and also has a self-service restaurant as well. They have a great variety of food on the menu and also have a kid’s menu to keep even the little ones happy! Be sure to try out their homemade desserts or the great selection of cheeses on the cheeseboard – and don’t think that you can’t go because you do not ski or snowboard, oh no, in fact, you can grab the free shuttle bus from Arc 1950 so you won’t be missing out! It is also open on Thursday and Friday nights, so if you can’t get there for lunch, why not try it for dinner instead?

Last but not least is Le Savoy restaurant which you will find it Les Arcs 2000 around the La Cime residence. Enjoy their great waffles and crepes whilst out on their large sun-soaked terrace with deck chairs at a ski-in/ski-out location making it a top spot for a long lunch. Inside it has a cosy atmosphere letting you relax whilst enjoying a variety of Savoyard indulgences such as a Raclette or a fondue – what could be better after an adventure filled morning ski?

PLACES FOR DINNER

As you might expect from one of the most popular French ski resorts, dining in Les Arcs is varied, ranging from a selection of pizzerias and convenient takeaways to Michelin star restaurants. The Cairn in 1600 serves fantastic Italian food as well as some delicious traditional Savoyard dishes. Also, Chalet de L’Arcelle on the outskirts of Arc 1600 is a popular choice amongst Ski Weekend’s guests mainly due to its warm ambience, great service and high-quality food.

Other restaurants that have caught the eye of past guests include the Belliou La Fumée, a fine dining restaurant that can be found in Pre St Esprit which can be accessed via the free shuttle. This is a restaurant that we recommend you book in advance as it is a very popular place to eat with some beautiful food including seafood dishes, local cuisine and meat grills – it also has an outdoor terrace with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi for those non-skiers to bask in the sunshine during the day! There is also the popular contemporary wine bar and restaurant ‘Le Petit Zinc’ located in the Hotel le Golf, which is also home to the restaurants ‘Le Mont Blanc’ and the aptly named ‘Le Golf’ – our guests that stay here are certainly spoilt for choice!
