SNOW CONDITIONS IN MERIBEL

Méribel is open on average around 140 days a season. With consistently large and regular dumps of snow in the area, you can always be sure of finding good snow in the 3 Valleys. The slopes are meticulously looked after by the pisteurs, which helps maintain the snow and with the support of great snowmaking facilities such as the snow cannons, you can be sure that there will be plenty of snow for your trip away.

Snow conditions in Méribel are generally quite a bit better higher up whilst it does tend to get quite slushy lower down towards the end of the day, especially around the Chaudanne area late in the season. This means that it can be a tad icy first thing in the morning, but as it thaws out you are left with some brilliant snow to ski on.

With a 3 Valley’s lift pass you are able to access both Val Thorens which is the highest ski resort in Europe and therefore has superb snow throughout the season, but also gives you access to Courchevel which holds the snow incredibly well with its runs better shaded throughout the day.

Is Meribel snow sure? One thing you can be sure of on your ski break to the 3 Valley’s is good snow from early season skiing to end of season ski holidays.
