SNOW CONDITIONS IN Zell am see
Zell Am See is linked with Kaprun and has access to the Klitzsteinhorn glacier, with a top elevation of 3030m. This all but gaurantees excellent snow coverage at high elevation. Due to its low resort height of 758m, often the gondola is the best choice for descending into the vilalge. When the snow does fall in Zell Am See, it makes for a magical winter playground.
Is Zell Am See snow sure? Of course, at high altitude the answer is yes, but due to a large difference between top and bottom elevations, you have to be prepared for the snow to change drastically.
