The 3* Hotel Terrace is an Art Nouveau establishment, built over 100 years ago, and found in a wonderful location close to the centre of Engelberg facing the Mount Titlis and is reached by elevator. Your package with Ski Weekends includes a free lift pass valid from the day after arrival until departure day.
The hotel has a range of facilities for you to enjoy your stay, including the hotel bar 'Portico' with over 1000 varieties of gin, a conservatory with splendid mountain views, the 'Belle Epoque' restaurant, 'Cave' cheese cellar with fondue evenings (supplement applies), sauna/steam room, games room and free Wi-Fi throughout.
To soothe any weary muscles there are two wooden outdoor sauna barrels, 60 °C bio sauna, 90 °C (new since Jan 23) panorama sauna, three multi-sensory showers, traditional cooling-off shower and relaxing room.
Skiweekends guests can book with Breakfast Only or choose to upgrade to a Half Board Plus basis, where you will enjoy breakfast, which consists of a hearty hot and cold buffet, and dinners are a 3-course buffet meal with house wine (red or white) included. Meals are taken in the hotel's restaurant from where you can enjoy magnificent views.
Location
Located North of the centre, the Hotel Terrace is 100m walk from the train station, then up two lifts, to access the resort level where the hotel is located.
1km from the nearest lift. This can be reached on the free resort shuttle bus which conveniently stops 200m from the hotel.
The centre of Engelberg can be reached by 10 minutes on foot for après-ski, dining out or want to explore the centre and do some shopping.
Rooms
There are 168 bedrooms at this sizeable hotel, standard rooms have twin beds, ensuite shower and WC, hairdryer, 32” flat TV with radio, telephone and safe.
Standard rooms in the main building are simply and practically furnished with views of Engelberg and the surrounding mountains.

Comfort rooms in the residence (connected to the main building) are simply furnished with coordinated colour schemes and are a great place to relax and unwind. These rooms are installed with a shower heat recovery system than recovers up to 70% of the energy used, benefitting nature, and us. They also feature sound proofed windows and doors, black out curtains and a workstation.

Free luggage storage prior to check-in on arrival day and after check-out on departure day with access to shower facilities.
The ski pass included in your package can be collected from hotel reception and is valid from the day after arrival.
