We’d highly recommend an on mountain lunch with a view, and Bad Hofgastein has plenty of places to accommodate this. You'll find an array of on mountain ski huts where you can tuck into local favourites and quick snacks. If you’re looking for a real gourmet experience- which surprisingly won’t break the bank, then look out for the Gasteiner Skihauben (Gastein ski toques). There are 6 of these ski toques in the Gastein valley and we’d highly recommend a visit to at least one. Here, chefs trained by award-winning Salzburg chefs whip up some amazing gourmet dishes.
Weitmoser Schlossalm
This “Gasteiner Skihauben” should not be missed. The Weitmoser Schlossalm is known for its gourmet cuisine, a well stocked wine cellar and great music. Chill out on the sun terrace for a real lunch time treat with a view

A classic on mountain style restaurant with a great sun terrace. As the name suggests, this place does serve up burgers but they also offer variety of regional dishes too
