Bar in Courchevel

APRES-SKI IN COURCHEVEL 1550

Although Courchevel Village (formerly known as 1550) is quieter than the neighbouring resorts, it doesn’t mean you’ll be short on places to go for après ski. With most of the accommodation offering ski in/ski out, Courchevel Village has après ski sorted without the price tag that is usually associated with Courchevel. There is also the option to party over at the Folie Douce at the mid-station of the Saulire gondola from Meribel - just make sure that you don't miss the last lift!

Courchevel 1550 Nightlife

The English sports bar, The Bar, is located on the main road just below Sherpa. The Bar has become a favourite with the English community who live in the resort, this might have something to do with The Bar having plenty of different beers on tap and a selection of sports channels on show! Definitely one of our go-to places in Courchevel Village.

If you’re looking for something a little livelier then head over to Le Caterail, the local vodka bar close to the roundabout on the main street. They have live music every Thursday from 10 pm and are open until 2 am. With a widespread cocktail list and low lighting, this is the bar to be in if you fancy a dance or two.

Inside the Hotel Chanrossa is an Anglicised bar which serves Guinness along with an appealing happy hour until 6 pm to draw in the best après ski crowd.

Over in Courchevel Le Praz is Le Cave des Lyd, a sophisticated French wine bar set in a traditional French cave. With low ceilings and atmospheric lighting, this venue is perfect for romantic evenings or a quiet drink with friends. Enjoy its extensive wine selection at reasonable prices and super-friendly service.
