SNOW CONDITIONS IN LA CLUSAZ
La Clusaz is a snow sure resort with plenty of snowmaking available to help boost the average 250cm seasonal snowfall it receives each year. It is a testament to the work put in by its pisteurs that it manages to hold the snow as well as it does with the slopes being open for around 120 days each ski season.
With the resort has being open for over 60 years, you can be sure that they know how to look after their snow, and regular piste bashing ensures that the slopes are kept in top condition throughout the season. With over 40 kilometres of the slopes covered by snowmaking, the snow will stay in tip-top shape right until the last day of the season!
Is La Clusaz snow sure? It receives below average snowfall for the French Alps and has an average elevation, but lack of natural snow is made up for with snow cannons and excellent piste maintenance.
