There is a diverse range of activities for both non-skiers and snowboards and the snow lovers from flying around the valley by plane to shopping down in Moutiers, but we’ll leave it up to you to decide which is for you!
For non-skiers, you can jump on the ‘Olympe’ gondola from Meribelcentre and ride it all the way down to the bottom at Brides Les Bains and explore this charming alpine village. Likewise, you may fancy jumping on a bus and making the 10-minute trip to Moutiers where you will find a wider selection of shops and restaurants to look around. If you are not particularly keen on sightseeing then perhaps the walks around ‘Lac de Tueda’, hiking and snowshoeing may not be for you, but the trips to the spas in town might be, or perhaps a nice dip in the Parc Olympique instead may be more to your suiting…
For the adrenaline-fuelled enthusiasts the activities not to miss are the Snowmobile trips which you can do during the day, or try a nighttime trip where it is just you and your group alone in the peace and quiet of the mountains (and your engines of course!) – this is a real treat to take part in. Another treat is experiencing the 3 Valleys from the air. Take off from the Altiport and experience an aerial tour of Meribel and its surrounding villages in an unforgettable plane ride in a setting like no other!
For the kids, there is the Parc Olympique where they can go swimming, go ice skating or watch some ice hockey, practice your climbing on the climbing wall or perhaps go bowling. Other activities include husky sleigh rides, tobogganing, a cinema and more, so don’t worry about keeping them entertained as Meribel has sorted this for you!
