PISTE MAP

SKI Area

As well as being a great place to learn to ski there is plenty of skiing for intermediates and the area is a great place for those who want to progress.  There aren't as many options for advanced skiers but with an area of this size there are always challenges to explore.

Beginners

Le Bettex and Mont d’Arbois is the area for beginners with its nursery slopes accessed by gondola from town.  A covered conveyor makes life easy for first timers.

Intermediates

The area is well served by long red and blue runs perfect for covering the distance surrounded by some spectacular scenery.

Advanced

Mont Joly and Mont Joux offer the best expert slopes in the area and with Chamonix nearby even the most adventurous skier will find a challenge.  Over in Les Houches the black run 'La Verte des Houches’ is used for World Cup races.

Off-piste

There are some great off-piste challenges for the expert skier.  When the snow conditions are good hire a guide and ski down to St Gervais from Prarion which is an adventurous alternative to returning via the tramway.

Après Ski

Après ski in St Gervais town is typically a relaxed affair with a number of nice bars to enjoy a quiet and well-earned beer followed by dinner at a small, laid back, local restaurant.  However, any après ski aficionados will be pleased to find the Folie Douce Saint Gervais - Megeve with its flamboyant cabaret acts and live DJs on the terrace.
