But how wrong they would be for, at 2100m, Sierra Nevada ski area is among Europe’s highest resorts and has been known for having seasons that start in November and lasting until early May. With such a great location and an advanced snowmaking system, Sierra Nevada is possibly the only resort that can practically guarantee sun and snow!

Due to the altitude, the majority of the 110km of pistes are above the tree line which allows for long, wide slopes - perfect for less confident skiers to find a quiet space to ski and make fresh tracks. If you are looking for a challenge try the World Cup Giant Slalom run, the “Fuente del Tesoro”.
