Hut on the slopes of Les Gets

Places for Lunch

Like its neighbouring town Morzine, Les Gets has some lovely restaurants both on and off of the mountain and we couldn’t possibly get through them all. Some of our favourites though are restaurants like Le Belvedere which is a self-service and a la carte restaurant just off of the Mont Chery gondola that serves some delightful Savoyard food to both skiers and pedestrians who have easy access thanks to the gondola. Another to try is La Paika who famously host barbecues on their terrace to go with their Savoyard buffet! La Paika is also lovely spot on a sunny day to sit with a glass of wine and is open 7 days a week to both skiers and pedestrians so everyone can enjoy this little slice of heaven on the slopes!

Places for Dinner

When it comes to eating out, Les Gets offers a relatively diverse selection of bars and restaurants. Restaurants in Les Gets vary from pizzerias such as The Tyrol to the more traditional Savoyard cuisine at Restaurants like Vieux Chene. Or, if you perhaps feel like combining the two, we wholly recommend that you try a tartiflette pizza in one of the local restaurants (a traditional Savoyard dish…but on a pizza!). When it comes to food, the Ski Weekends team always have some suggestions. For example, for some great on the Mountain dining, if you’re after spectacular scenery to accompany your meal, an English run restaurant called the Grand Ourse on the Mont Chery is a must. Also, when dining in Les Gets, La R’mize is another personal favourite in the Ski Weekends office due to the wonderful service and the excellent raclette.
