SNOW CONDITIONS IN LES MENUIRES
Overall snow cover is good throughout the season. The main west-facing slopes in Les Menuires get a lot of sunshine, however, there are lots of snow guns placed in this area to ensure cover is topped up. La Masses’ high altitude and northerly orientation ensures good long lasting snow, consistently. If need be, however, you are a stone's throw away from Val Thorens, which is renowned for being snow sure.
Les Menuires has around 80km of its local slopes covered by snowmaking equipment, so there is little to worry about in terms of lack of snow, it is also important to note that the pisteurs around the 3 Valley’s look after the slopes incredibly well. All this means is that the snowpack will be harder and means the snow will last longer. But don’t just take our word for it, check out the links below.
