La Plagne

There are all sorts of activities available in La Plagne. For those needing an extra adrenaline rush, the Olympic bobsleigh run built especially for the 1992 Games offers you the chance to shoot down the 19 bends at high speed, subsequently experiencing one of the most intense adrenaline rushes winter sports can provide. This can often get booked up pretty quickly so we strongly advise that you book in advance in order to avoid disappointment.

There is a fantastic open air heated swimming pool in Belle Cote which is a great way to soothe tired legs in the evening. As well as having a fairly decent bar, Belle Plagne’s bowling alley is a good spot for an evening family bowling tournament after dinner.

There an abundance of other extreme activities available in La Plagne besides the conventional skiing and snowboarding. Parapenting off of the top of the Roch De Mio is advisable for any adrenaline junkies in the group as is taking part in an evening snowmobiling convoy.  Snowmobiling is great fun in La Plagne, even if you don’t want to take part, you can get a great view from the village of convoys setting out with a moving cluster of lights sparkling on the mountain side.
