Apres Ski IN ARGENTIERE
Apres ski in Argentiere has a more laid back local feel than neighbouring Chamonix, but there are some great spots to head to once the lifts close. Expect cosy bars, live music, beer and cocktails, with a friendly mix of locals and visitors. For those looking for a bigger night out, Chamonix is just down the valley and offers a much wider choice of late-night bars and clubs, easily accessed using the Chamonix night bus.
The Office is Argentieres best known apres spot, a lively pub in the centre of the village. A long standing favourite with locals for drink and pub food with a tex mex twist. Live sport events are shown on the large TV screen (standing room only on rugby nights) and regular live music, making it a great choice for a relaxed drink that can easily turn into a lively evening.
Le Demi Bar - a trendy, fairly new bar in Argentière that opened in 2024 offers live DJ sets, excellent craft cocktails, local microbrew beers on tap, and a stylish modern interior.
Fubar is one of the village’s main apres ski and late night spots as its close to the Grands Montets, it has a lively, informal atmosphere and regularly hosts live music. Brave its bucking bronco, shoot some pool or dance into the night, this is a popular fun choice with groups for drinks after ski and dinner.
Le Slalom is a small and friendly bar on the Rue Charlet Straton. Popular with locals and season workers, its known for its friendly atmosphere, cocktails, great beer, with themed evening (80s neon one week, tropical the next!) and events to keep things lively later into the night.
Argentero at the foot of the Grands Montets is the perfect bar to slide into at the end of the day on your skis, sit on the sunny terrace and enjoy your apres ski drink. Its also the best spot to get a great coffee and plan the day and meet your ski buddies before heading up the mountain.
